Last week, Trump sent letters announcing plans to impose high import tariffs on 24 countries and the 27-member European Union starting August 1. He plans to impose even higher tariffs on Canada, with goods from that country subject to 30% tariffs starting August 1. What does this mean for Slovakia, and how much negotiating power does the European Union have?
